Thistledown Solomon has excellent bone structure and a strong macho presence. He is well grown and carries an extremely fine fleece for a black Suri. This is what excites us about Solomon as well as his genetic worth.
Thistledown Solomon has added frame, presence, lustre and fineness to his progeny from our black and fawn Suri dams.

Solomon won his fleece class at the National Expo 2011 where three of his progeny also took first places in their respective fleece classes.

A Solomon son, TKO Knees Up, was awarded multiple Black Suri Breed Championships in 2012 & 2013:
North Island Colourbration Supreme Black Supreme Suri in 2017 where his fineness was extolled by the Judge..
A Solomon daughter, TKO Garnet Rose, was awarded the Black Suri Championship at Waikato A & P Show 2013.
Another Solomon daughter, TKO Dancing Through The Fire was awarded the Supreme ROAN Suri Championship at North Island Colourbration in 2017 and she took out the South Island Colourbration Female ROAN Suri Fleece Championship in 2018.

Like most black suri males, Thistledown Solomon is heterozygous. However, in the time that we have owned him Solomon has only produced suri offspring for us.
